To the Vet's we go

Well, my plated lizard still has not eaten, but he seems fine. How long can a lizard go without eating??

His scales look kinda crusty in some places and he has this very weird looking 'thing' on top of one of his plates that is just slightly smaller than the scale itself. It's round, and almost the same color as his scales, but it does not look like an parasite (but what do I know). In any case I have an appointment to take him to the vet next week. At this point I'm almost sure he's wild caught, and I want to get him checked out and everything just in case.

Also, his tail is bent like it was caught in a car door or something! Maybe it's normal, but I hope to not find out that he was abused before I got him. We shall see!
