I have read some caresheet on my black and white tegu and it says im suposed to only mist it once a week but i would figure it rains a lot more times than once a week from where they come from? what do you guys think? I would think atleast every other day...
Just a thought, but you may want to search for info on where they come from. Annual rainfall, seasonal info, all kinds of good stuff like that.
That's where I would start anyway
Niagara has my vote - research it before you do it!! If its too wet, they might get a skin malady, or maybe nothing?? But check it out on weather forum on net or at local library reference desk....
cheers,
markb
It may be they need humidity but not dampness, if I tried to keep the humidity right for a couple of animals they would get scale rot from the dampness. I picked up a thing called a sonic fogger and it raised humidity in a 6X3X2 well-vented enclosure by 20% without soaking the substrate.
