Quotable Quots!!!
I just thought this might be fun! What is everyone's fav quots?? I know some of us have them under our avatars but......So here are two of mine:
Procrastination is the art of keeping up with tommorrow!
And
If you fill your hours with the regrets of yesterday and
the worries of tommorrow,
there is no time for the happiness and joy of today!

Mine is right in my signature... "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is to love, and be loved in return". It's in the Moulin Rouge movie and is said by the character Christian
Oh I just had to add this one... I love it!! "I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't stick my head that far up my @$$" lmao. That one is so awesome. I probably have more, but ah well. those 2 are my favs.

I like.. 'One man's trash is another man's treasure.' Its very true.
Also.. 'When one door closes, another opens, but we often look so long and regretfully at the closed door that we don't see the one which has opened for us.' ~TR~

There are a lot of good ones out there. I like the one from my paternal grandfather, "You don't know how much you have got to know in order to know how little you know" and my maternal grnadmother's was "Take the time to stop and smell the Roses."

I'd have to say that my signature is my favourite because that one can be expanded upon so easily and diversely. I have a few other whacky quotes that I use such as:
"I do what the voices in my head tell me to do"
and
"I'm the one your parents warn you about"

Here is my all time favourite quote.
"A proof is a proof. What kind of a proof? It's a proof. A proof is a proof. And when you have a good proof, it's because it's proven." - Prime Minister Jean Chrétien.
I think he writes his own speaches...

Here are some quotes I have remembered some are funny some are somber but for sure they are all memorable
Sir Winston Churchill
“Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened.”
“So they [the Government] go on in strange paradox, decided only to be undecided, resolved to be irresolute, adamant for drift, solid for fluidity, all-powerful to be impotent.”
Abraham Lincoln
“It has been my experience that folks who have no vices have very few virtues.”
“Force is all-conquering, but its victories are short-lived.”
Homer
“The wine urges me on, the bewitching wine, which sets even a wise man to singing and to laughing gently and rouses him up to dance and brings forth words which were better unspoken.”
Hip

- I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person :-)
Hope you don't mind me throwing this one in since it is a verse rather than a quote:
But if you tame me
Then we shall meet each other
To me, you will be unique in all the world
To you, I will be unique in all the world
You will become responsible forever
For what you have tamed
Antoine De Saint-Exupery
