the right gecko?
I was wondering if u could help me pick a gecko species. I would like to find a gecko to keep, other than a leo or fat tail. I already keep leo's. I am looking for another terrestrial species that tolerates handling fairly well. Any ideas?

Crested Gecko..but he's not terrestrial though.
If not,a Pictus Gecko is terretrial, but they are smaller in size, not allways easy to handle when they are young.

i've always wanted a barking gecko or a satanic leaf tail gecko (i don't think the satanic one is terrestrial) Or you could do a banded gecko they kinda look like leos. ummm theres the cat eyed gecko or it's called cat gecko ( i think thats what it's called i've only seen one picture of it.) gargoyle geckos but then again i don't think those are terrestrial either. There's alot of different species of geckos out there. Sorry i'm not too much help.

I'd say crested geckos. I actually take mine with me downtown (for short quick trips and only one at a time. I also bring a critter keeper it put it in when in the car). Even though they like to climb the walls, they are awesome!!

Crested geckos, definately. They are arboreal, though. I can't wait to get mine

i asked this same question pretty much, and the crested geckos got me..they are easy to take care of, just room temperature, and can eat baby food, or the new diet out for them..
overall, they are good for the beginner lizard keeper but still awesome if you are experienced...getting mine in a few weeks

crested geckos are awsome geckos there small hardy geckos that don't require heat or uv rays even thoe u can add those to bring out color and they eat both crikets and fruits and veggies and r super cute!

All f the above seem pretty cool...although I wouldnt really reccomend the leaf tail or cat gecko. Helmeted geckos are a small terrestrial geckos that can be handleable as adults. They are cool looking too! If you want to spend more money there are always knob tailed geckos another awsome Australian gecko!

I've been looking into the pictus geckos and the wonder (frog eye) gecko. Does anyone know anything about these two geckos? I would love to hear your personal experiences with these. Thanks.
