Boscoe & Mars debute
I've finally got pics and figured out how to get them online, so please meet Mars and Boscoe, two of my girls.
Question- I was told that Boscoe was a Colombian Red Tail when I got her. I've believed it all along, but now I have a slight doubt- is there someone who would like to confirm this for me by the pics? I will try to get a better stretched out back shot of her.
Here's a year old shot of the 2 of them
What do ya think?

Thank you very much, she's got the most outgoing personality. We got her in Jacksonville, FL; my friends used to own an exotic reptile shop. She's a gem. I actually need to find new homes for my girls because I'm moving to Hawaii in Oct. (military move). I found my 'last resort' for my snakes, but I am still looking into possibly selling them all. With my last resort, I may actaully get to get my snakes back after a couple of years.
Mars and Boscoe definately rock!

I concur 100% with Linds about Boscoe being 100% BCI.

I feel foolish that I can't recall the specific difference as to what BCI & BCC are- please reeducate me.

So Boscoe is a BCI, a common (redtail?) boa. There is a slim chance that she could be a colombian redtail boa/BCC, but not likely.
Correct?
Can someone give me the selling price range for her?

Definitely Colombian Boa, not a true redtail or cross. I'd say about $100 USD is a fair price. You can always ask slightly more to make room for haggling.

Columbian boa- got it. Thanks for helping to clear that up for me. I read everything in that thread you attached, but I was still a tad confused afterward. Regardless of her name- she's still a special little girl to me!
