Temp Check

I was wondering if these temps sound good..........80f cool side 90f basking spot.... and the other tank has a 77f cool side, and about 88 hot side.....Does that sound ok?

at night or during the day? It doesn't hurt to have the basking a little higher--between 90-95, but those sound fine.

During the day......at night the temps drop to (as in the first post) about 70f- 85f in both tanks........the male (in a 40breeder) usually stays in the hot spot during the day and sometimes night (he's in shed so he's not moving much) and the female is usually in the cool during the day and the heat/light lamp heats up the log (hot hide) and she usually lays on it at night.....or she's all over the tank (a 20 gall long)
