I live in Tampa, too! Lucky you, I have never found a hognose in the wild. They are my favorite colubrid, too . perhaps some day..

Great looking snake man!! I caught a gravid Eastern earlier this yr that layed 18 good eggs!! How often do you guys fine Southers out there ?

I have 1.2 southerns now Scott. I haven't had the time to herp where I would have the best luck for them. Lots of rain when I do. Anyway, I haven't found any in some time. You can bet I will be looking every chance I get.
