Hi New here
Hi all I am new here. Would like to ask first question if that is ok. What is the best place on the internet to buy food, spot lights, spectrum lights and so forth. The local pet store is way to expensive.

What kind of food are you looking for? For small mammals, try rodentpro.com or bigappleherp.com. Not sure about the lights, though...but it might end up being about the same when you factor in shippings costs. Maybe try used stuff at ebay?

also depends on where you are located. For example, there are sites of places in toronto, but you could just go their to save on shipping if you live close...

to tell you the truth, the best place i found to buy heat lamps is at the local hardware store. They have clip-on light sockets with metal covers to focus the light. Works like a charm 
|

For supplies we usually hit the shows or support our local (well not so local now that we moved) pet shop. I don't think there's any one best supplier, I'm all for supporting the local little guy, and what you save in prices often gets eaten in shipping.
