IBD has claimed another
well my snake has past away today. he was not good to begin with, i suspected something, and seperated him from my other bp. after i give him his shot for the day (batril), wich started to increase his lower end mobility but suddenly stoped working, i placed him in his cage, and he laid in the same spot for almost 4 hrs! normaly i wouldnt be scared, but this time he was inches from either hide, and over a 4 hr period managed to move his head 1 1/2 inches towards a hide. when i picked him up to weigh him he stuck his head straight up (90 degree angle from body), and started waving it back and forth, is this star gazing? i placed him on his back, because IBD limits the righting reflex, and continued thehead motion, i quikly weighed him, and made him as comfortable as possible knowing these would be his last hours. i called the vet, and canceled my friday trip, and scheduled an euthenization tonight, but he did not last that long, and was pronounced dead @ 3:03 PM today.
on a lighter note the guy i bought these from is bringing a male and a female, and i will meet him with my other healthy snake, sex it, and my brother will choose a matefor my Farkus

I am a HUGE newbie when it comes to BPs and diseases they may get but if this snake was housed with another snake, doesn't your other snake have a large chance of also getting sick?
Or does it not pass this way?

IBD is so uncommon it is unbelievable. Your snake died because it was an underweight, WC ball python. Most balls in captivity hatch out weighing 80-120g's. Next time buy CB.

I looked into your photo gallery, and it seems Corey is more than right, BOTH the BPs in there look very nasty! They are both VERY underweight. Neither of them look healthy at all!
Why not stop buying snakes from such a bad source,? because those snakes in your gallery look HORRIBLE Literally dude, not trying to be a jerk but they look that bad.

Holy $#!T man were you feeding these? First off, who said it is IBD? If it is infact IBD your in big trouble. It is highly contageous and it is a good chance, if you have any boids, that they are too infected now. Before getting the next pair, I would suggest doing a lot more reading, because by the look of the snakes you are doing something wrong here. Also I would thorougly clean the enclosure the balls were in and isolate the other boids from your new ones.
