I have a gecko that i have been having trouble trying to find the species. well today I noticed its sticky feet weren't sticky anymore. I can run and jump jump find but its feet just won't stick to the glass... what could cause this?
My fan footed gecko can only climb on the glass for 2 days after he has shed (even then he kind of slides down, doesnt stick great). After that he is confined to vines, wood, and plants until the next shedding.
I had this problem with one of my geckos for a while. I then discovered that the reason for this was the substrate. I had them on sort of a sandy stuff (stupid me) and i switched to newspaper and they stick all the time. What do you have as substrate?
