BP ate off of my fingers!
my ball python has always eaten in the dark without me seeing but this time for some reason he took the rat right out of my fingers! it was awesome, i've never seen him eat before. I've had him for 4 months and this is the first time. Wow its cool!
hes grown really large since the last time i've taken pics of him. hes about 2'6" now, hes also really chubby cuz he eats every 4 days

Bad idea. By doing this the snake will eventually correspond your hand in the tank as feeding time, bad idea. I would recommend getting a pair of hemostats and feeding with this or just placing the mouse in the tank.

I move mine to a feeding tank. She eats, then sits and waits for me to put her back in her "home" tank.

Congrats! Nice to see your ball is becoming more comfortable with everything I think many of us are guilty of feeding with our hands at some point or another (I know I do from time to time ), but it really is a bad habit to get into. Trying to remove a snake can be an unpleasant task, and although a ball python wont severely hurt you, it still isn't a great habit to get into

I must admit I have feed with my hands on a few occasion...but like Linds says it's a bad habit to get into...you can get a pair of hemostats cheap.

hemostats cost money, so i just used chop sticks today and it took it! really cool, i like it how it just leaps for the rat.

Oh, dear sweet merciful crap.....
Ever hear of washing your hands, people? I hear it works great for getting certain scents off your hands.
I handfeed all of my snakes, and that includes my almost 4 foot BCC. I put him back in his home tank while he still has a little bit of rat tail sticking out of his mouth... that way he doesn't have any desire to bite me, because he already has food in his mouth. Handfeeding can be fun. You should try it... then wash your hands with mild soap.
