Exclamation help!

im going to the pet shop tomorrow( tomorrow is july 17th) and my mom says i can only get these baby leo gex if i go that day, and i really want a male, but these babys are only 3-4 inches long, i dought that they are old enough to sex, are there any other ways? or is the checking for the "V" shaped pores and the hemi-weiner, gonna work?

i had to change the word *****(it blocked it out) to weiner, oh well

Wow, free geckos? What's wrong with them? If you are taking in these guys make sure you get them vet-checked, and maintain their health, this will make things easier on you and them in the long run. It seems as if your geckos are very small, and probably unsexable until they are around 5 to 9 months of age. (Depends on the gecko's growth and maturity.) Regardless of the sexes, make sure you separate them if you see any signs of stress or fighting. Separate any geckos that are thin or have dropped tails. Make sure each gecko has their own hiding place, (i.e. 3 geckos = 3 hiding places). Keep us updated on these guys, and let us know how they are doing! Good luck!

Well if one already died I wouldn't go back for a second one. This is why you should buy from breeders instead. By picking up the gecko to replace the one that passed away you are making room for the pet store to bring in more sick and unwell animals who will die. I would take the new one to a vet RIGHT away and get it examined for parasites and such. If the gecko does have worms or something you can take the vet bill to the pet store for reimbursement. If they refuse then ask for your money back. Most places will be willing to work with you. Keep us updated!

If the first one died, u should demand your money back. Not another lizard. I don't like the pet stores for reptiles AT ALL, but from my experience, if a pet store is even half way decent, the leo's are usually safe. I don't know what happened in your case, but I would just ask for my money back if I were u. And u usually can't tell the sex of a leo until they are about 5 inches long.
