i kno how to sex a leo, im just wondering at what age can i sex one, cuz im getting a baby and i want it to be a male, and if i get a girl im screwed, so at what age?

around 6-9 months for me but sometimes some males can look like females until they get older. Try to see what temp it was incubated at that may be of some help if the person know. usually 80-83 females 84-86 either way 87 to 90 males or possible superfemales. I belive that is correct alot of breeders i know and that i have read about the incubation temps. , and from me breeding temp sexed.

reptiledude how do you figure just because it's at a petstore means it's going to be female i have seen around the same amount.

usually at 3-5 months depending on the size they are sexable.

i was promised a gecko from a pet store cuz the one i got there was really sick and neither of us knew, and i guess im gonna have to wait for a while before i pick him up so i can be sure i have a male

i cant buy any right now cuz my mom will go "you will never take care of all of these! it was a waste of money!" so im only getting the one from the pet store and thats it for now(about a month or so)

If you aren't able to have a female then don't take the chance on buying an unsexed baby. Buy an adult male, or a sexed younger male. It wouldn't be fair to the female if you buy her, stress her out, then disgard her because she's not a male.
