Help

Hi i need some help I just got a new boa and i have a question. can i put a heat pad from a drug store in with the tank because I cant get enough heat in the tank.

Do not put a heat pad IN the tank. I use human heat pads(from the drugstore) for most of my cages, only put it under one end of the tank, and keep it on low. If you need more heat, you can always use a light, preferrably with a red "heat only" bulb. It would help to know what type of heat you're using now, and what size is the boa and also the cage size. Screen lid or not?
