Some weird looking banana blizzards hatched

Well I am not sure what happened here but check out the one on the right. He was produced by breeding two banana blizzards together.

I have hatched around 4 of these weird little buggers. They almost look like throwbacks to a patternless. Maybe this is some of the patternless genes from long ago starting to show up in the banana to banana breedings. I am going to keep a couple and breed them to some patternless leos next season and hopefully figure it out once and for all.

Weird, but cool! They do look like patternless throw backs... be very interesting to see what they turn out like!

i like their colors. alot i think that would be a cool new color unless their is already something similer.

I actually purchased a blizzard male and some het females from Garrick Demeyer about 3 years ago. He had always produced some really bright yellow blizzards every once in awhile from his orginal breeders.

Well I grew mine up and bred them and I also produced some bright yellow babies from them along with normal colored blizzards, hets and even a midnight.

I kept back 3 or the yellow babies grew them up and they were all girls. I then phoned Garrick up and asked him to save me his best yellow banana male he had at the time.

This year I have bred that male and my females together I have produced all bright yellow bananas from them no white blizzards. The banana babies are even brighter than their parents were at the same age. I also have produced 4 or 5 of those weird ones with the patternless markings on them.

From the group I have hatched 24 or 25 hatchlings including the 4 or 5 strange ones which almost would indicate a heterozygous condition. I have not bred any of my bananas to a patternless to see what would happen but I intend to do so with these strange bananas next season. I guess we will see what happens.

I know prehistoric pets the orginal producer of the blizzard had bred the blizzards to a number of other morphs in the beginning whether or not my little guys are displaying these genes which may have been hiding in them who knows but I guess we will see next year.
