they get 20ft+ and 300lbs+.
NOT a snake you want to get unless you have years of experience and are prepared for a potentially huge snake that will need his own bedroom and bathtub.
Stick with smaller stuff for now

Those are great burms! It's obviouse your feeding them the way they should be fed, good for you. I once saw a burm that was 4yrs old and smaller then a BCI. Keep em cold and keep em hungry, the cry of the neglectful burm keeper.
Great snakes congrats!

Boas are great! Some species stay as small as 2ft, others 4-5, and others 10ft. They are usually quite tame (short of ETBs and ATBs).
You could also look into carpet pythons.

i have two 8 foot boas, they are great, when they go on parties i get about 8 kids to hold it while they get their pics done, and the snakes don't mind as long as your gentle with them! i wouldn't reccommend doing something that would make them wanna bite you!!

Yep... that's the first thing I tell kids who hold my snakes is to act like a tree.

Thank's Ladyhawke and every one else for the nice word's
Well there are many snake's you could get that would be good for you but as you said you are not experienced with snake's so what i would do is find a type of snake that you would like and get all the info you can on the snake and see if you could provied what it would take to own and care for that type of snake
good luck
Brandon

It depends on the species.
There are Kenyan Sand and Rosie Boas which get 2ft (apprx... don't know the exactly number)
There are Hog Island Boas that get 4-5 ft
And there are BCIs and BCCs (Colombian Red-Tailed Boas and Guyana/Suranime Red-Tailed Boas) that get 7-11 ft. Not sure on weight though.
They are usually very tame. My girl is the sweetest thing I've ever come across! Hog Islands have a rep for being a little moody, but not big deal.
They go for 120-200$, average. Some are more expensive, like Hoggs.
