Silly question (lol)

Ok i cant belive i'm going to ask this, but my boyfreind or myself cant belive this. Are my bearded dragons freaks or is this normal. They poop maybe 1-2 times a week, they eat like pigs (i know they are healthy) But when they poop it's HUGE. I cant belive they can fit it out of them. and if they are given a bath about 1/2 hour after they get out oh my god are there poops even bigger. The food is completely digested and it doesn't smell. I quess it could be normal but i just wanted to check.

Thanks

Jamie.

That's normal!
Some water does get 'absorbed' into the back end of the animal and it loosens the stool somewhat as well as making it a little bigger, similar to a pop up sponges action.

Ya...I'm usually surprised at the size of my BD's poo. Although not quite as surprised as I am when my Ball Python drops a poo that looks like it came from a dog

Sounds to me like they are getting lots of high-quality fiber in their diets keeping their stools nicely "bulked".

My Bull snake is the same. About 1 - 2 loads a week, depending on whether he gets 1 or two Rats. It stinks the house out & the amount is amazing.
