Lightbulb wood safe or not

Hello

I have a bp and i was wondering if it is safe to put a dried out maple log in her space, of course i will treat it and bake it first but i just want to make sure that maple isn't toxic like cedar.

Thanks in advance

I think maple should be ok. That's a hardwood, and I don't think hardwood is toxic. Many terrariums are built with maple. (The really really expensive ones)

I have heard/read from a few sources that no hardwood is toxic to any animal. Maple should be fine.

You read/heard wrong. Black Walnut (Juglans sp.) is highly toxic. Its well-known for its allelopathy.

Maple (all species) should be fine.

No probs. But most other common hardwood is just fine. Birch is good, same with maple and oak. But my favorite is Arbutus. But its only on the west coast.

Cheers.
