Looks like a great display to me but I'm no designer. How are you going to do the lighting & heating in it ? I've been thinking of one myself but i'll admit .... I'm lost on how to do it !

I'm going to look through this forum for other threads that will help us. I'll reply & they'll come to the top. Keep me updated on your design.

thx it took me a few mins to draw up (and 2 hours beging my mum to give me the money) my corn loves to slither about and i think he will be a big boy wen he is older, if he isnt i might divide it 40inc 10 inc and have the leo food in the 10inc space, ive got a digi video cam so i will film me building it frm wen i get the stuf to wen ive moved the snakes in (ime geting a few of the famely to help) so hope fully i will have it nearly dont in 1-2 days non-stop work but ive got to price things up first

Yes you can control a heat lamp with a dimmer. It is a very nice desigh but I have a few questions.
1) Is there a reason you are making the BP cage 30" tall?
2) Are you using heat lamps or wiring your own fixtures in?
3) Is the corn getting extra overhead head? If it is I think you will run into the cage not being high enough to allow you to mount heat in there unless you are using an UTH. I may be mistake with my question. Feel free to correct me.

I wasn't sure if you were hanging the dome lights or if you were going to buy light fixtures and wire them yourself. I assume your going with the dome lights.
