Anyone in Barrie Ontario who love snakes and want to make a few buck to save some Garter Snakes. The owner of the house have kill a few off but said there are over 100 more there. The owner do not like snakes but don't want to kill them all off. E-MAIL me reptilerob99@yahoo.ca but for a faster call me ASAP (807)622-3387 so I can set it up to move them.
By your post I am assuming a garter had babies in someones house? If this is the case why don't you just gather them up, take to a field and release them.
I can't I live in Thunder Bay ontario.. 15 hour drive for me. The owner do not want to paid for me to flight down there or drive.
These are not babies these are adults.
But I just wanted to add. Without getting the few who reply about how much mad. This job is not just for the money it is for the love of snakes and showing people that this snakes are not going to hurt them and things along that lines.
I will be bringing my camera along, so I'll post pics on how the relocation goes.
While I was working at the Toronto Zoo last year, I built a hibernaculum near the barrie area....I am probably going to relocate them to that area to ensure they have a hibernaculum when the winter comes
thanks rob
