New Camera....warning...lots of pics!!!
Finally bought a new Camera. After some hard research and lots of looking and pricing, i decided to go with Canon's new G3 4.0 megpixs. It has all the features i wanted and canon quality. I took some pictures with it this week for the first time...im still trying to figure out how everything works on it, but im starting to get the hang of it. The real test will be taking the pics of the Toronto reptile expo and documenting it here on the site!!!
These first couple pics are macro shots of flowers. I picked these as they were readily available, and a real test for the cameras colour definition.
I wish i had a tripod with me...but the next two photos are of boats i shot in Oakville Ontario this morning. The pics are close ups using 4x optical zoom and 14x digital zoom. Then each pic is followed by a regular shot to show you just how far the boat actually was. Im still learning how to use this zoom properly, but i think they came out fairly well for the distance!
First the close up
This is how far away the boat was!
Again, another close up!
And from actual distance!
I will try to add to this as i upload more pics and see what comes out. In the meantime i am very happy so far and i highly recommend this camera to anyone who is looking for a good camera for the novice that dives into the professional
