Ok I take it Little rays is a pet store? And you haven't been there in awhile? And you are mad because they didn't redecorate? You need a little bit more info or a story maybe. Some filler even!

Didn't change much in the last 2 years??? Not sure what you mean but I have seen major changes there since 2 years back. We have the whole building now... new alligator pen is almost done.
It still needs some work but I think its doing pretty good and gone pretty far for a privatley owned zoo.

Little Rays is Ottawa's local reptile zoo...(Little Ray's Reptile Zoo) I haven't been yet (I'll get to it, i know :P ) but all else I've heard is positive
I'm going to email them about volunteering soon.

yeah ... i saw the new alligator area and stuff ... i wa kinda disappointed in many things ... first off there were very few new animales
second i found the 'hands on' show to be sub par ... no offense, but i think in 2 years you can find other things besides a harmless scorpian and spider to hold ... i mena, the snakes werent exactly exciting either
i guess i just didnt feel as though it was worth my time ... i mean, if little rays is now a one time thing, then thats great ... but why did i pay 2 times to see the smae animals 2 years older?

Maybe write to them at littlerays@raysreptiles.com and let Paul and Sheri know what you thought. I mean they hear a lot of positive things but it is good to hear some criticism too so they can improve and become better.
I'm going to have new pics of LRRZ soon by the way. I am working on their website right this moment aswell.

All the information you need it at their site, http://www.raysreptiles.com/
It has a map and the addresse. It's quite a bit further out than it looks on the map.

5305 bank past the caberet and then continue past the driving range ... just continue on the street, there is a huge sign out in the front... if you are going for the first time you will like it tons ... if you have been there, dont go back for another 5 years till they get more animals in
and again ... i am not saying this to be mean in anyway, but adding a new pool is not going to want to make ME spend 6$ to go see the pool ... get new ANIMALS
ooo ... and get some cooler fish ... the coolest one was the lion fish, but the rest looked like oversized goldfish - LOL

Here is the link to little rays reptile zoo:
http://www.raysreptiles.com/
I have been there once, and I did enjoy myself, but other people I went it found it rather boring. To them, it was just a smallish room with lots and lots of snakes. They liked the gift store, though..

Little Rays was awesome when I went and I'd gladly go again even if NO animals change, nothing is made different and they let you hold the same animals!
It was the hands on people skills the staff had that I loved. And quite frankly, to some people, holding a tarantula, petting a caiman and holding a burmese ARE exciting. That's what I held anyways.
Also, they do the special shows too. Of course, it costs more but any establishment has a right to charge as much as is needed. If you want a thrill, why dont you pay for a special show for yourself!
