Any good places in the northern states?

Hey im going down to the states with a friend this monday to go looking for different aniamls. We will be goin to washington, oregon and probably california and nevada. Does anyone know of any really good places to go looking for stuff (other than garters )

I dont know of any places, but while you're out wondering about, look out for the Northern Pacific Rattler. I've heard they have mean bites.

The various sub-species of rattlers are high up on my "want to see/catch/photograph" list The other main ones i want to see are collareds, gophers, ground snakes, king snakes, and whiptails.

Ohh yeah, it looks like we are going to belevue, then to richland, through Oregon to nevada and california. Depending on $$ maybe utah. Anyone know any good scorp areas to go to?
