albino

how do u get a albino from a 1.1 normel is it like once in a while, if so whats the average on geting a albino in a clutch????

I'm not an expert...but I do know this...

You will not get an Albino from breeding normals together. They must be carrying the albino gene.

If you breed an albino to a normal then you get normal looking snakes that are "het" for albino. If you breed two het-for-albino snakes together then you have a chance of getting some normals, some hets and some albinos.

This is why albino ball pythons are so expensive. Albinos are very rare and it is not so quick & easy to produce them in captivity.
