My newest addition!!!
As some of you saw on the news, there was a snake found in a Vancouver downtown hotel last week. It was rumoured to be a 14 foot python, but is in fact a female adult columbia boa, nicknamed "Bob's Worst Nightmare". I am proud to announce that she has now become a member of my family. YAY!

They suspect the snake belonged to a stripper or a drug dealer? I guess because of the area it was found in, but that is only speculation.
I found out yesterday from a freind of mine where the snake was being kept, so I went to look out of curiosity more than anything. I gave them my name and number after seeing the snake, but was told somebody already had dibs on her. Turns out he didn't really want her and was more of a last resort kind of thing. So I got a phone call today telling me I could come pick her up! She is in pretty good condition, some small scars, but pretty healthy overall.

Congrats Jen. I'm sure the snake will be much happier with you than in the basement of a hotel.

Thanks everyone!
I don't have my own digital camera, but will be getting someone to take pictures of the big girl for me. I will post them ASAP!
