How long to get out of snappy stage???

Just got me 1.2 IJ's yesterday and boy is one of them extremely snappy, nailed me quite a few times, good thing they are tiny at the moment. I am wondering what experiences anyone has with them and if I handle regularly how long should it take before it starts to settle down or will they EVER settle down???
Thanks,
Tom

Tom,

I've found that most Irians will calm within their first year of age. I had a pair that were snappy for some time and then seemed to stop once they finally realised that I'm not food! These pythons really are great to work with.

Give it some time and handle them a couple of times a week and they'll get used to you. It's better to get them used to you while they're small rather than adults.
