Question How much should a royal python eat?

Does anybody have any information on how much a royal python should eat at different stages of its development (i.e.: 1 year, 2 years & maturity or by length or weight)?
I have had my royal for about 7 months now and she is eating like a pig. She is a year old and is eating 2 large (real large) mice a week and would eat more if I gave them to her. I am unsure what is too much or to little or how much she should eat a year from now for example.
Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

Well, my 3 month old is eating as much as yours is, they are either really timid and don't feed well or pretty bold and piggies! I would say get that snake on small rats a.s.a.p.!

The general rule of thumb is to feed a prey item that is about as big around as the biggest part of the snake...once a week (5-10 days) and less often as the snake gets older.

If you feed your snake mice, you will have to feed a few of them to make a full meal for a good sized ball python. If you can get rats then you can just feed the apropriate size of rat.
