Meal size(leopard geckos)?
How many meal worms do you think an adult female leopard gecko could eat in one serving. If it matters, she's 2yrs old (May be producing eggs), and about 7-8inches in length.

Mine can usually eat 10-20 each. But mine are little piggies! LOL I also like supers(kings), 5-10 usually does it for them.

Let her have as many as she can take if she is gravid. I use the self-serve method. Lots of mealies in a glass ashtray free for the takin!

I often have up to fourty mealworms in my leo's dishes and let them eat what they want. They usually stop eating at about 15-20.

if it helps at all, i use those terra cotta saucers for the bottom of the terra cotta plant pots. u know, the glazed ones. i just buy the smallest ones they have. since they are smooth the mealies can't climb out, and the sides are just high enough, too.

I also use the terra cotta until my leos get used to eating them out of the dish, since they escape too easily from them when you add too much I then advance to the white finger bowls.
They're great for water too.
here's the smaller ones.
Terra cottas are great for calcium as well and water for hatchlings so it isn't too deap.

They work great and they're fairly cheap.
