The "Awwwww, how cute!" Factor
I was in a local reptile shop today, and saw my first baby burm. It was so beautiful, and docile! I can see how it would be easy to sell them based on the "Awwww, how cute!" factor alone. It was a normal, but very pretty. They also had a 6-7 footer that my wife liked. In a few years, when we have room for it, I think I will be able to convince her to let me get one. If I have to, I'll use the CF (Cute Factor) and appeal to her maternal instincts! (Poor thing just misses his mommy!) o>

heh ya i saw one at a pet store a wile back and i was like awww i remember when mike was that big. they grow up so fast ;(

I think he means
....I remember when mine was that big.
I'll agree I've been tempted by the "awww how cute" factor with burms too, but then I just think.. if it got loose, it would have the potential to eat both my kids no problem, and it goes away.

im a 13 year old kid and my mom will only let me have my bp,but in 4 years when im able to move out i will have a burm.
