Stenodactylus - pic
Just thought I would share a pic of my Stenodactylus. They are very funny little geckos. Is anyone-else out there keeping these?
For a size comparison the shiny thing is a penny.

I think they are pretty much full grown. I have not measured yet but they are only supposed to get around 100mm.

I've got one! I wanted to get like 5, but only the person that breeds/sells them around here only had the one, so i took him! yea they are really cool little lizards. My guy dug a hole under a flat rock i have in the tank, and hangs out there when he sleeps. At night, he goes crazy running all over the place!
This guy is maybe an inch total lenth

Very Nice!
I love watching them dig, they are more active then I expected.
I am trying to get a good pic of mine when they get mad. They stand as tall as possible on those little legs. Very funny

When I first got them I thought them to be Stenodactylus petrii. After talking with someone who has bred for a while I believe they are Stenodactylus Stenodactylus.

I have 1.2 petrii or what is believed to be petrii. I had picked up 0.2 that where rather on the large side, and was told that they may not be petrii, but possibly doriae. Well a few months ago I did get a definite petrii 1.0 a week or so ago I put him in with the two females that where sold as petrii to me and within five minute the male was copulating with the female. So I should have eggs soon if all went well. and as Sean says, they are rather funny to watch.
As for people asking about how much they cost I paid $35/each for my adult females and I believe it was $30-$35 for the male. I think I have seen them sell for as much as $45 though.
