HOW BIG DOES A COMMON(Rosy BOA) get....n what is an average price??

I like balls to!...
but which 1 would u recomend
(temperment is my main factor)

thanks Guys!..

Well if temperment in the main factor then i would go will ball pythons. They are really calm and hardly ever bite, and if they do its not bad at all. When is comes to BCI's (red tails) well, it really depends on the snake. Mine has been known to get a little crazy at times.

Rosys, im pretty shure they get around 3 feet and i have seen prices range from 50 - 200. They are great pets as well. Hope i could help ya out.

Ball Pythons do not make good "first" snakes. The are very tempermental when it comes to feeding, and when it stops eating, most new hobbyist get worried. Ball pythons have been known to go off feeding for up to 6 to 7 months at a time. That is enough to worry even a seasoned snake person
I purposely do not recomend Ball Pythons to anyone for their first snake.

If I were to suggest a good first snake between the ones you listed, I would go with a Rosy Boa. The are docile, and tend to stay on the small side unlike the common boa which can get over 10' (females).

Do a internet search, buy the books, and learn all you can before you buy any snake (or any animal for that matter).

Good Luck.

Jim

Hmm well i think if you know the facts about balls when you get one, even if your new to the hobby, your still ready for everyhting. I know a lot of people that would agree with me that ball pythons are a GREAT beginner snake. And as jim mentioned rosys are good too. Ball pythoons are known to fast but its hardly anyhting to worry about, 99% of the time they are just fine! And for the tempermental feeding, almost any snake is going to get a little excited when its feeding time. I hope you choose the right snake!!! Good luck!

i think i comes to how much you haved studied for the animal once you get ball to eat its good. The Corn feeds right off the bat but boas grow fast and big so a new owner might get overwelmed
