Hate to brag BUT..
Guess what, well today my herp show came early, today I was GIVEN FOR FREE a gorgeous anery cornsnake, witha 33 gallon tank (looks like it), heat lamp, pad, hides all the worksfor it.
about three and a half feet long- 4 feet long seems to be very docile (had it out for a bit).
Not sure what sex it is but looks to be female.
Anybody up in probing at the show tomorrow to give me a definate sex (no probes+don't know how, all I know is how to POP, and it's way to old for that.)
anyways, it's in quarantine as we speek, searchin out it's new pad...
JEALOUS YET...hahaha
she (hopefully), would be a great adition to the collection (makes 8 snakes now, 6 corns, 2 BP's)
so anyone want to probe it for me at the show, I'll be there at open
will have pics of the new corn soon
thanks for reading and becoming jealous, FREE corn=sweeeeeet

Not jealous
I've been given free greenish rats, cali-kings, adult corns females and males (anerys and normals), baby corns, an adult female ever glades rat, boas, leo's, chams, tons. Heh. Still it's damn sweet to get the 33 gal! I'd like to get free racks for the herps! Anyways, congrats!! It's always nice to get free corns!!

Congrats on the new corn.
Do you know any information on that corn snake other than it being an anery? He/she might be a retired breeder.
I can help you probe it tomorrow if you want.
Tell me how you look and how I can find you.

No it's not a retired breeder, not old enough, it's two years old, hasn't had any diseases, parasites, etc.
The guy I got it off of was taking care of it for his nephew who had to go to the army. His nephew gave it to him because he wanted an experienced person to take care of it (The guy who gave it to me said he cared for and breed around 200 herps in Calgary.
He wanted the corn to go to an experienced keeper/breeder, that wouldn't just take it because it looks cool. Hopefully it's a she.
It will breed next season as it allready has enough size.
I will be the guy with short died blonde hair, in a red t-shirt, black shorts, holding a rubbermaid (see thrue blue), with an anery corn inside. (that good enough description), if not you would either find me drooling over the corns or BP's.
If you don't respond to this by the time I leave, I will not have brought the corn to get probed, I will respond to your post to confirm I will bring it to get probed.
Unless I know I should bring the corn I won't (less stress for it, as it has allready gone through quite a bit yesterday..)
thanks
-Ryan

Sorry Ryan as I didn't see the post of before I left for the expo....I slept at 6am and woke up at 7am......and then already started to head for the expo so didn't have time to get it probed.
Next time if you are going to the September one, I'll help you probe it for sure. Sorry about the inconvience!
Hope to see you the next time!
