My Rainbow died...
Damn.
Ha ha, just kidding. Never seen a gravid Rainbow fully invert like this. Seen all sorts of pythons do it (womas, jungles, balls, burms, retics, etc etc) but never a boa, let alone a Rainbow. Pretty damn cool.

Ha ha, it wasn't the intent! But watch me jinx myself and have a Rainbow die on me. The world works in weird ways so I could fully see that happening!!
Now I'M the one that's scared. Great. LOL!!
Rainbows are cool. Wish we had an albino to work with.
Hypo? Yeah right...

Jeff, you shouldn't joke about such.As you know I had a good group of Bill Lamar phase BRB's and produced hundreds of offspring...I had one die gravid! It happens! I sold all mine a few years back, and most of them have since expired in the hands of other keepers.
I once got a complete litter of still borns too.
Brazilians are NOT the hardiest snakes, and that's why they were $225 US for two decades(until recently)
Lots of them die, usually from dehydration.
It's rare to hear about keepers with 20 year old BRB's...although we do hear such about many other boids

Oh I know Roy, ha ha! And believe me, if there's anyone paranoid about jinxes, its me!! LOL!! I dread the day I get my first litter of stills/slugs or first clutch of infertile. Its such a let-down, I'm sure.
I do have a male BRB that's roughly 18-20 years old though. He's my best breeder!! But I do have a dark-red replacement for him growing up now. You can never be too careful.
But I still fall asleep dreaming of an amelanistic BRB. Sigh........
2-decade-old male BRB mating...
