Vehicles
About a month ago my brother and I were on our way to work when a elderly driver forgot the rules of the road, and unfortunately, we were involved in a car accident. No one was hurt, which is good, but my pick up truck was messed up pretty good!
This is my truck last August (2002). I purchased the truck brand new off the lot in Oct 2000 (it was a 2000 model). This was my first vehicle.

This is what it looked like after the accident.

The frame wasn't bent and they were going to fix it. However, they discovered that the water pump was pushed into the block of the engine so the whole vehicle was written off. This is where the water pump was.

So, after about 2 weeks of waiting to hear back from the insurance company I finally got the go ahead to purchase another vehicle. I was going to sell my truck in October so I had already been browsing the lots to see what was out there. I wanted an SUV that was 4x4 as my light pickup sucked in the snow! Plus with all the reptile shows I do now it would be easier with an enclosed vehicle.
So, here is the new Vehicle. I decided to go with a Jeep Liberty Renegade. This thing has everything but a power sunroof and heated seats. I paid enough money for it and I didn't want to put an extra $1500 in it for the extras (plus I didn't really need a sunroof anyways).

There are 4 types of Jeep Liberties....the Sport, Limited Edition, Rocky Mountain Edition, and then the Renegade. The Sport is the lowest model and the Renegade is the higher model.
I went with the leather seats.....this thing is loaded!

It's really nice to drive as well!

And this is what it looks like with the add ons I put on it.

Pretty sweet ride Corey. So did the old guy have to pay up for the damage? My sister was in an accident a couple weeks ago and she smashed up the car pretty good. Im really not surprised though, know how it happened?!? She was bent down looking for her cell phone not watching the road at all and smashed right into the back of another car. lol I thought it was funny and i warned my parents that if they let her take it out on her own she would smash it but she insists its not all her fault...

Man you must be a pretty calm person. If it was me i would have lost it completely and ended up in jail, lol. Maybe that's just because i have two loves in my life right now, my truck and my pets... I don't know why i don't have a girlfriend, lol.
