now thats kinda cool - I had once seen a two heeded snake at a bushgardens in the states.. a few years back.

I have read about this occuring in sliders a lot but this is the first case were I can remember it being a painted. The chance of survival will increase now that it is in captivity. Hopefully the little guy makes it! The wierdest thing about that story is the two headed snapper. One head died before the other! That is wierd!

Yeah there is actually a guy down in the States somewhere I believe that has a collection of two-headed turtles. Most of them are sliders. I think he was up to 11 or so?

aaaw what a cute little guy i saw him ( and probably her) on the news a few weeks ago some guy tried to buy him for a lot of money but they would'nt sell
