Question Cover the Lights

I'm very interested in making my own enclosures so that they can be more space efficient and just all around look better than a whole bunch of random terreriums...

My question is, if I want to make the lights in built. So that they're stackable and such, what would I use to cover the bulbs so that my snakes don't get hurt?

Hey, you should definetly put something covering the lights. Even if you think its too high for your snake to reach, they'll usually find some way of getting there and this would result in a severe burn. Alot of people build a box around the light made of hardware cloth. You can buy the hardware cloth at any local hardware store.
If you search through this forum you can find a pic of it....sorry i tried finding it for you, but i gotta leave for work
