Andy: He's doing great!!! I've only had him for a month now and he's starting his second shed already  So far he has yet to pass on a feeding, he's still a little nippy at feeding time, but he's a growing little boy.

Yup!!! They used to have their own classification, but have been reclassified as a color phase of a Florida King. Brooksi is still used in the hobby to note what color phase.

Actually they have gone back to the old names meaning that floridana is "brooksi" an what used to be the Florida kings are now known as the Peninsula intergrades.

I thought that the Florida King was the main specie with the Goini and Brooksi being color phases of it? Now I'm confused  So, your saying the Brooksi is the main specie with the Florida being an intergrade with it and Goini? or Easterns?
