You have no idea until you actually see it! In person it is very impressive. You would have to display something really nice in it to get people to look in the tank instead of at it! Truely artful.

It is solid Oak trim and Oak veneer for the base of the cage and the cabinet. The cage was expensive enough as it was, but to include solid oak would have been way too expensive.
Thanks for te comments everyone.

I know what you mean Greg....makes you wish you had an oak forest in the back yard. I was wondering cause it looks so good you can't tell there is any veneer in there! Once again, really good job, by far one of the nicest ive ever seen.

Thanks Shane..
I just wish I could afford to build something like that for myself. I am going to try and do a naturalistic frog enclosure in the same cage, but it would be half the size.
I should add some of the specs to this post.
Cage is 6'L X 2.5'D X 3' H
Helix Supersystem for heating and lighting with sunrise and sunset light dimming
Overheat Programming module and fan
temperature night drop
2 160 watt basking lights one on each end (at some point will be changed to powersuns)
2 48" verilux UVB flourescents
1 250 Watt CHE
More logs are going to be added to the cage do that the dragons can get closer to the lighting but haven't found some good pieces of wood to achieve it. This cage was built for someone else and so she is going to be looking after the interior cage layout
Let me know what you think

I was wondering what the volumn of that tank is if you know? I am planning on putting together a beardie enclosure some time over this summer and i'm kicking around ideas as to how to build it.

The cage took about 2 months to build, but it was build on spare time and weekends. I could probably do it in a month if I had more time and wasn't so much of a procrastinator. The cage is 340 Gallons roughly, but it is way overkill in my opinion. She has lots of beardies and a big cage was needed, but I think the height didn't need to be as high.
