If they only knew......

I wonder what the mfrs. of these tubs would say if they knew what we do with 'em!

I have hundreds of those containers. I use them for water dishes, housing tiny babies, transporting animals for sales & of course to hold small clutches in as well. I just commented earlier on another forum on how one of us should get into the wholesale rubbermaid market. I've got some pretty funny looks at the tills with my shopping cart full of rubbermaids, when they ask if I'm organizing my basement or something. I tell them its something like that, but not what they had pictured. LOL Mark I.

yeah when they came out with these gladware containers I saved a lot of incubator space. I was using the shoebox size before so now I can almost double the capacity. Heres a look at the first week of "input". Soon, I'll use another styro just like this and turned upside down on top of this as a cover and that also doubles the space in one incubator. That is the "high" reading on the thermometer by the way.

just a regular old double shipping box w/ thermometer and humidity indicator added. To double the size, I just use another and flip it over and use it as a top. My area is home to the biggest tropical fish farms in the U.S. so they are readily available and cheap. (Like me)

Hmmm... nice ideas Mark! Maybe I'll grab some of those later this week. I'm using the shoe box rubbermaids right now...

Ha ha! what kind of looks do you think I get when I tell the lady I'm going to use the new digital scale to weigh my neonate snakes? With my looks, I'm sure she thinks I'm weighing "other" goods by the gram!

I wouldn't judge you...

Well, I'm off to shop for bins at a store that's going out of business. Wish me luck!
