2 close for confort?

I have a California king snake and a Ball python in seperate tanks but the tanks are right by each other. Is it ok or do i have to screen them so they think they are alone?

Personally, I would not let them see each other.

yea i put repti carpet which i am not using to split it. So now they dont see each other
