hey all... A few weeks back, my baby brazillian red+white shed its skin, and I moved it to a bigger "cage" (more of a bottle... lol, but it works). It was much bigger as soon as it moulted, and its colours were very vibrant. I put him in his new cage, and within two-three days of moulting, he proceeded to dig a burrow. He dug straight down in the middle of the cage, right to the bottom of the 4" of substrate (he is only about an inch and a quarter) and is making a network of tunnels! Seriously, he has one going almost all the way around the bottom corner of the entire jar (about 3 and a half of the 4 sides, and also has a couple going out from the middle of his origional "elevator shaft" to the outside, so I can still see him... He hides in one of the tunnels, and when the cricket goes in the cage, it goes into the hole, and then my little T sprints out of his tunnel, and into the one with the cricket... Its kinda neat, like a little mouse maze thing
I am in still awe of his little system... He eats a cricket about the size of his abdomen every 3 days, and he must have gotton twice his size from when he was jsut about to shed... A wonderful tarantula!

P.S. I'm getting a baby pink toe soon, and that should be fun...
