Herps changed my life

I was up at 3 this morning changing a heat bulb when I realized something... before I started getting into herps I needed almost complete darkness to get any sleep, but now if it's dark I wake up and fumble for my spare bulbs. Can anyone relate?

Yep that is so me and my Gf when she has a nightmare she sleeps in the herp room it give her a sence of securaty she can see every where but all she needs to do is close her eyes and the light's dont bother her any more she sais if some one has the balls to brake in they will be less likly to co in the room with the big red sign saying DANGER extremly large reptiles.

That's me aswell. When I got Montey (also my avatar), I kept her in my room, then moved her to a spare. And I wasn't sleeping very well. Recently I moved her back into my room so that the nice red lights could be in. My snake is my serenity
