They almost look deadly
Cricket legs under the microscope. Just thought i would share. Their whole legs are nothin but spikes, freaky lookin.
Also some pics of a tarantula shed.

Those are AMAZING shots Kyle! As I'm not the bug expert around here.... in pic #4, are those the eyes of a tarantula? Or just what are those white areas?

Ya the last pic is of my Usumbara Tarantula shed (eyes). It is just a normal microscope. i couldn't sleep and was very bored, so i decided to try taking pics with my digi through the microscope. I took a while to get it right, but it finally worked. Beats buying those $5000 microscopes with a built in camara. It was only on 40 power. I am trying to get some neat pics using 1000 power, i want to get a close up of their hairs. I would also liek to try and get some close ups of gecko feet (suction things).
I'll post more when i find something interesting.

That is so amazingly wicked! And Shane, why stop eating them just because they have spikes? Crickets still taste mighty fine! LOL!

Thanks. I tried to get the pads before but when i put on the cover slip it crushes it and and makes it impossible to ID.
I looked at an ant, holy crap are they freaky looking. No pics but i'll post some more this weekend.
