I don't post much invert forum because there is only a small following, but I post and comment when it comes up. I haven't seen one of the best tarantula person's I've known of post in a long while.
This little guy is a first timer because I seldom think about them, they can be collected by the 100's here.

unfortunately they will produce copious amounts of a noxious bowel contents but lizards and roadrunners(birds that decimate the reptile population here) seem to luv them.
Very cool Rev! Those are just running around in New Mexico? Wow I would be grabbing them all the time but I guess if you see them lots it's probably no big deal. Lizards eat them. I haven't seen a roadrunner in years. I don't get down to the Us much anymore.
Hey, those things are awesome! they are too neat... I love millipedes (currently trying to get some african giant blacks). I know religion talk is frownd upon, but you wouoldn't happen to be a pagan of some sort, would you, Rev?

lol, certified witch, Pagan clergy, co-founder of the Pagan Student org at NMSU, even the occasional guest lecturer when a Professor needs someone to talk about modern Pagan beliefs or magical systems.
actually the proper latin would be compos mentis, lol, but irregardless most friends would consider my hold on sanity tenuous at best going from a double B.A. (one actually in psychology) to working on a double M.A.. I even find my religious beliefs to be one of the most sane things about me, go figure.
