Spotted scarlet king?
Well, not quite! Anyway, here's a shot of the odd pattern of a female I have. She has about 4 "saddles" where normally there would be red/black/yellow bands. Just black on yellow. Can't wait to get her in my breeding group.

Ace, she was found in central FL. (not too specific!) The "hot spot" for w.c. scarlet kings seems to be A.N.F. this year. (North FL) I was just telling another that I always liked scarlet kings because nearly all I was seeing were"perfect". After seeing some of these recent abberrancies, I'm leaning toward trying to duplicate them. You can bet this one will be bred to one with similar (as I can find) traits. Maybe they'll fetch more than my $25. "perfect" ones.LOL!
