Snake Hunting
I have read lots of post and and classifieds on people taking bids or such on going out snake hunting and catching snakes then selling them i would just like to know how to snake hunt as i live out where there are lot snake but i go out into the fields and find nothing so could anyone give me any tips on snake hunting or anyhting related if you would i would be greatly apecciative though i dont think i spelled the word right.

i dont think it would be wise to sell them. sure go catch them but release them. maybe keep one for your self but do not sell them. probably against the law as well

one way is prepping a site, pick a decent site (with water and cover) and set out some sheets of tin/plywood. At the site look for ants, usually ants mean no snakes, but lizards and rodents are always a good sign

I dont meen to sell them i think its kinda dumb but i want to catch them to keep for myself and for a liltle while then put them in outdoor terruims where they can live in natural habitats yet still get there food and stuuf more easily but only if they are young or old or sick would i keep them.

Keep in mind in a lot of places it is illegal to house native animals.

I live in texas and i pretty sure its not but i am sure of one thing i can keep whatever i want on my own land and they cant say anything about like you here you can have a brothel on your lnad and they cant do ****

I live in west texas a town called Big Spring near MIdland ANd Odessa also called the permian basin but I live on the eastern edge. Thank you for your support.

lol cool, a part of my Family owns Mitco Pipe in Midland, if you make over around El Paso lets hook up. What are you hunting over there kings, milks, rats, racers, crots, coachwhips, garters?

Realy im hunting anything I can get but i want corn snakes the most the milks then garters thats my top three list i love corn snakes they are so kool ive tried all i can to get one but i just cant.

don't think there are any gutata in your area but there should be some other types of elaphe
