If he is doing it like I am witch means no under heting pad you need the extra lamps to keep the temps at the proper heat and it is hard to heat a cage that is tall. I love the cage I could not have done better if i tried a bit big for a baby but it will grow I just hope that the tail is red'r in real life cause in the pic's it looks on the orange side but that just might be me (I just woke up).

Nope i don't use a heating pad...was going to use it though but its not neccesary. The red lamps are connected with a thermostats which keeps the cage at at least 21 degrees celcius during the night. THose lamps are only 60 and 40 watt so i need a few..if I use more watt then the spot right below the lamp becomes too hot (50 degrees) so i prefer to use 2 smaller ones.
The dimensions of the cage are 150x70x70 in centimeters. Thanks for the compliments

Ooh btw the floor of the cage has a hole in it which leads to those plastic cages below the cage..as a hiding place. You can't see the holes now because the bark is over it..

Very nice, but it seems to be bci, not bcc. Coloration is all wrong to be bcc. How much did you pay for it and what locale is it 'supposed' to be?

Very nice looking BCI you have there. I like the tail color and it looks like a circle back too.
Are you sure this is suppose to be a BCC because it looks like a BCI to me.
Take care,
Tom

well as long as you like your snake that IS all that maters I don't think you were riped off to badly but I also dot know how much a BCI is in the US I paid 100$ each CND but I had a good deal. Any way i am glad you got your snake now you can enjoy the whole kit of snake keeping and not just read our stuff and feal so lonly....hehe. I know that is how I feel when i am away from my snakes too long. I could have a striper on my lap and I tell the boys i wana go home i have a cage to clean after I just cleand it that morning I just wana watch them roam around in there cage at night and throw the ocasional extra criket in my gecko cage just to watch it hunt under the red light.

FireFoz... $80 USD is a GREAT price. You actually got a good deal. Nice looking bci down here with that rust red tail like yours would easily fetch $150-$200. And it isn't just that the snake looks nice, but the fact you are happy with him/her. I think that is the most important thing.
