Now that looks like some yummy chameleon food! All kidding aside, I have no idea what it is either, but that's one neat bug. What's the length of that thing?

You must see it's head and how is moving. These cute buggers will turn me to an insect fanatic. If the site had small video uploads you could see it's head moving like as it's human. It has the eyes front of the head and it looks like an alien creature...amazing!

That's why i love Canadians so mush Yeap i start to like very much insects. Many times i cought myself (when i didn't had the Mantids) observing crickets for hours. I would like getting giant African fruit beetles as well!

giant African fruit beetles are the size of half length of a man's palm. Most Mantids leave about 1-2 years and if you want to breed them you must feed female very well before mating occurs because otherwise she will eat the male. They produce hundreds of tiny hatchlings that look like adults and need very cautious not to canibilize each other.

Unfortunately far away from devil mantis (Idolomantis diabolicum). This is one of African spp. mantids. Sphodromantis spp. maybe Sphodromantis lineola.

This is how devil mantis (Idolomantis diabolicum) look like...

Yes! lol...magnificent creature! I am starting to like more and more insects. Especialy those with amazing colours and strange bodies. I cannot get an ATB so...i could get an ADM (Amazing Devil Mantis) lol
