Tisiphone, our newest ammie
We adopted this female from a member on RTB.net. She arrived just yesterday. She had a little stuck shed but is otherwise ok. The girl we got her from just didn't have the time for her anymore to keep her 'tame'. She was a sweetheart when first acquired by her a year ago, but without much handling she has become a touch nippy. With regular handling here, I think she'll calm right down again. She is a gorgeous Halloween phase. This is what they look like after their color change:
Her head is quite long and narrow, very nice. She went through her color change faster than our males since she is about 2 months younger. They still have some orange, LOL. I am quite interested to see what I get from 2 Halloweens.... Probably nothing too special, but it is still exciting.

Thank you! Yes, Halloween phase. They are born orange and black/grey. The pattern on the head is a maze instead of stripes. As they grow older, the orange turns cream colored. The girl we adopted her from was afraid no one would want to take her when they found out she was no longer orange, LOL I think she is more striking this way (pun intended, thank you Burm Baroness, hehehe). I'm quite partial to black and white snakes

thank you thank you. A friend of ours has a male that looks a lot like her. SO we will see what pops out in a couple of years (when she is old enough to breed)
