Where to go herp hunting in Illinois?

Hey guys, just wanted to check with you guys here and see if anybody knows of a place to go herp hunting in Illinois. More specificaly, around the Chicagoland area? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I want to find and document snakes, turtles, or lizards. Thanks in advance.

Chicago has a huge, excellent herp society. Get involved, they have field trips all the time.
